Random House to publish my book

I'm happy to inform you that I've just signed with Random House to publish my book, the Laws of Learning. Designed for parents, it provides guidance on how to help children achieve their potential in academic studies.

I've made a page for the LOL concept -- www.lawsoflearning.com and will post updates there.

The book should be available in the second half of 2009. Stay tuned for more!

Hi Gopi,
Thanks for your kind words. It's been consistent work over my 19 years in the field of education. During this time, I've learned a lot about the process of learning. My goal with "LOL" is to help people, especially parents, understand what research tells us about the process of learning, and how to apply that knowledge in practical ways.

It's the practical part I'm concerned with, because the research in this area is vast, and i think most people don't have the time to go through the elaborate findings of neuroscientists, developmental psychologists, and other learning experts.

In addition to making the content accessible, I've tried to make it enjoyable. After all, the book title shares the same abbreviation as the famous Internet acronym for laughing out loud!
